STAR TREK BEYOND has moved to the base of the Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai for filming today, where another crowd of Starfleet-clad extras are shooting scenes from the upcoming movie, and once again, the local employees of the large business complex have their cameras out for us to get a peek into the set.
First up, here’s out first closeup shots of both the new Starfleet duty uniforms first seen on Zachary Quinto back in August, as well as the new “jumpsuit” uniforms we first spotted at the Central Park Towers location on Saturday. It’s still difficult to make out the shoulder patch on these new outfits, but they’re clearly Starfleet in design.
In the photo below, it also appears that the new jumpsuits include division-colored tank tops under the grey jacket, as the woman on the right of this image demonstrates:
Here’s a good look at one of the unknown red plants, a set decoration we also saw at the Central Park Towers location.
There’s also a setup at the JLT waterfront, which one Twitter observer describes as “a panic scene… where they all start running away.”
We’ll keep our eyes peeled throughout the day in case any additional views from the JLT location shoot appear!
