Preorder STAR TREK BEYOND on Blu-ray, 3D, and 4K!

The long-waited movie has only just landed in theaters, but you can already preorder STAR TREK BEYOND on all home media formats today!

While there’s no release date yet listed – we’d expect to see it around the holidays – we’ll be sure to bring that all to you as we learn more about when these discs will be available.

We’ve got links to the standard BEYOND releases at the bottom of this post, but here’s a look at some of the retailer-exclusive plans for the latest film.

In the USA and Canada, Amazon has released a first look at their forthcoming USS Franklin gift set, which will not only include a model of the retro starship, but a unique 4K + 3D + Blu-ray combo collection as well (note the image is subject to change).

The UK and other parts of Europe will also see Amazon’s ship release scheduled for availability, but this only seems to include the standard Blu-ray disc, along with a Qmx-designed statuette of the old starship.

Walmart’s exclusive edition of STAR TREK BEYOND is slated to come with three “mini ships,” measuring approximately four inches each: the Franklin, the Enterprise, and one of Krall’s Swarm ships.

Only at Walmart, this giftset includes Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD + Instawatch + 3 Collectible Mini Ships. The 3 ships measure approx.. 3″ to 4″ in length, and are replicas of the Enterprise, the Star Fleet ship – the U.S.S. Franklin, and the evil Krall Swarm Ship. Each comes with its own display base.

While it’s expected that Target will include a bonus disc of additional content in their release, there’s not yet been one officially announced. At present, this is the only expected material not to be included in regular BEYOND releases, avoiding a swath of split-up features like the Star Trek Into Darkness debut in 2013.

In addition, Best Buy has announced a preorder for their exclusive Steelbook release, available for preorder now, featuring the Star Trek: The Motion Picture-style artwork for BEYOND. This artwork is planned to be uniform to all Steelbook releases worldwide.

British retailer Zavvi has also announced plans for some exclusive Steelbook releases, including a three-movie Kelvin Timeline Steelbook in the style of the Compendium Blu-ray set from 2014.

They’ve also put up a deluxe edition of that set with additional Star Trek items included, and a traditional BEYOND-only Steelbook as well.

Remember, these early prices are will drop between now and release date, and Amazon will only charge you for the lowest price, even if you preorder early.
